We are going to hear and learn another simple Slogam today
Today the slogam is for our first God – Children’s favorite God!
Lord Ganapathi – also called Lord Ganesha.
Kutties let us get started…
Paalum, Theli Thenum, Paagum, Parupum,
Ivai Naangum Kalandunaku Naan Tharuven,
Kolam Sei, Thunga Kari Mugathu Thoomaniye,
Nee Enaku, Sanga Thamizh Moondrum, Thaa Thaa Thaa!
Meaning
This is one of the songs that Kids sing to Lord Ganesha.
This lines are framed in a very friendly way.
Just like you kids talking to your friends.
You Kutties are so close to Lord Ganapathi, So you are
saying to him that you will give him four things and in turn ask him for
wisdom.
Lord Pillaiyar is a god who loves to eat. So In the first
line we sing offering him four eatables like Milk, Pure Honey, Jaggery and
Dhal.
In the second line we sing that we will mix then all well
ourself and give it to him.
The Third line of the song is framed to asking for the
blessing of the Great Lord with the elephant’s face and who is always priceless
as a very precious gem.
At last we sing asking him to give us the Wisdom we need
for life.
isnt it written by Ovvaiyaar ?
