Hard to believe but true!

1.  During hibernation, a black bear's heart rate can drop form 40 to 50 beats per minute to 8 beats per minute.
2. An adult lion's roar can be heard up to five miles away.
3. Many cave dwelling fishes don't have eyes at all.  
4. Cats cannot taste sweets.                           
5. Some wild turkeys can run up to 25 miles an hour.
6. A zebra-fish can repair its heart if the organ gets damaged.
7. Mother elephants use their trunks to lift newborns to their feet.
8. Alligator's teeth are hollow.          
9. Rhinos cannot see properly. Thats the reason they mistake trees or rocks as threats and attack them.
10. After a chase, a cheetah needs half an hour to catch its breath before it can eat.
